NEW GRADUATES - CIVIL OR MECHANICAL ENGINEERING! Design Engineer - Start and grow your career with Actalent! We are looking to hire a full-time Design Engineer . We are hiring for multiple roles, ranging from entry-level to experienced.

Job Responsibilities

• Design of underground gas distribution systems using AutoCAD and GIS programs for both new construction and update projects; while complying with industry codes and standards.

• Support the Field Operations and Construction Operations teams by travelling throughout Nicor's service territory performing field engineering tasks such as taking measurements, taking notes of equipment, observing project installation and commissioning.

• Support multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines.

• Coordinate with various internal and external departments.

• Quality control of drawings, maintaining accuracy of drawing database .

Additional Details

• Civil or Mechanical Engineering degree

• Engineer in Training (EIT)

• Proficient in AutoCAD

• Strong interpersonal communication skills
