    Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Control Technician B to join our team in Auburn, Everett, Renton, Auburn, and Seattle, WA.

    Technicians in this job receive, inspect, kit, dispense, deliver and maintain an inventory of chemicals and supplies.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Serve as an information resource on hazardous materials through maintaining a working knowledge of Local, State and Federal regulations.

    • Provide proper waste disposal and processing of hazardous waste materials.

    • Respond to environmental hazard spills, working closely with Boeing and outside agencies emergency response units.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

    • 1+ years of experience working with hazardous materials.

    • Currently possess a valid driver's license.

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • 1+ years of experience executing data entry, retrieval and inventory management.

    Typical Education:

    High school graduate or GED preferred.

    Relocation:

    This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

    Shift :

    This position is for variable shifts.

    • This is an hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinists (IAM-751) Collective Bargaining agreement.

    Summary pay range: $20.00 - $43.74 per hour
