General Summary

Provides clinical and administrative services involving primary medical care to patients in a family practice setting.

WellSpan Health is seeking a Family physician to join our busy outpatient practice in Aspers, PA. We have a physician retiring and are looking for a teammate who is patient driven and cares about quality measures.

Position Highlights:

• Join 2 physicians and 2 NPs in this practice with a staffing ratio is 1:1

• Phenomenal, nurse-triaged, call schedule: 9 weeknights/year, 2 weekends/year.

• Lab, imaging and Physical Therapy on site at this beautiful facility surrounded by apple orchards

• Take advantage ofDAX - Dragon Ambient experience.DAX is an artificial intelligence scribe that ambiently listens to the patient visit and generates a clinical note into the EPIC EHR for the physician

• Reason for opening: retirement

• Compensation based on panel size, not RVUs

Qualifications

Minimum Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or

• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or

• Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required and

• Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training

• Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine, or Board eligible. Upon Hire Required and

• Completion of a Family Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Administrative skills.
