    We are offering an opportunity for a Front Desk Administrative Assistant in the hospitality industry in Honolulu, Hawaii. The role primarily involves managing the front desk of our hotel, assisting vendors, owners, and guests, and providing excellent customer service. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity that requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong skill set in administrative assistance, customer service, and Microsoft Office Suites.     Responsibilities

    • Managing the front desk operations to ensure smooth functioning of the hotel

    • Assisting vendors, owners, and guests as needed, ensuring a positive experience for all

    • Answering inbound calls promptly and professionally

    • Providing exceptional customer service to all guests, answering inquiries and resolving issues efficiently

    • Utilizing Microsoft Office Suites for various administrative tasks such as scheduling, data entry, and correspondence

    • Collaborating with multiple vendors for the provision of services and products

    • Participating in the training and supervision of new staff members as needed.

    • Ensuring that all front desk areas are kept clean and organized

    • Coordinating with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction

    • Maintaining strict confidentiality of all guest information and hotel data.

    Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within the hotel industry.

    • Proven experience in performing receptionist duties such as greeting guests, answering phone calls, and managing room bookings.

    • Ability to provide efficient administrative assistance including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining files.

    • Experience in liaising with multiple vendors, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of services.

    • Strong customer service skills with a knack for resolving guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.

    • Proficiency in answering inbound calls, providing information, and redirecting calls as necessary.

    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • Ability to work under pressure during peak times.

    • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hotel management will be a plus.

    • Must be willing to work in shifts, during weekends, or on public holidays as required by the hotel operations.
