    As the Global Solution Owner, Syndication you are a member of the Data Management Transformation Team. You will focus on delivering business value through IT syndication solution such as GDSN and Salsify. You will need to understand well the business process for creating and distributing product information and how it enables eCommerce and omni-channel business growth. You will have expertise on syndication business needs and challenges within existing solutions, partner and influence business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to evolve syndication strategy across regions. You will translate business needs into a backlog of functionalities which need to be designed and developed in partnership with external vendors, which requires strategic influence of the future of their products. You will partner with Mondelez DevOps team to define a transition plan from old ways to new ways of delivering IT products, including capabilities like automated testing and continuous deployment. You will also build expertise in how industry is evolving (e.g. 2D bar code, new data requirements) and translate this into Mondelez syndication solution roadmap, in partnership with the business.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Builds subject matter expertise in business process to create & distribute product content

    • Builds expertise in technology platforms (1WS, Salsify, BrandBank, etc.) and integration patterns

    • Self-educates by gathering information and learnings from peer companies, conferences and events to develop strategic solution roadmap for the Data Management area, taking emerging needs into account so a long-range plan and funding proposition can be worked out to be ready for future syndication trends and challenges

    • Co-leads with global eCommerce and Sales teams a strategy for Syndication area across markets, and secures business engagement

    • Creates and leads aligned roadmap of new features and roll out to new geographies

    • Organizes and manages successful Development Teams, including supporting funding model

    • Establishes automated testing and continuous deployment process for the solutions

    • Educates business on how to deliver quality user stories / requirements

    • Ensures stability of operations for existing solution

    • Partners with Governance and BU Deployment Leads to understand data quality gaps, and translates them into user stories that can prevent issues from occurring

    • Controls costs by ensuring transparency of cost to serve and total cost of ownership as existing solutions evolve and new services are implemented.

    • Builds effective engagement and relationship with MDS BU Leaders and their teams

    More about this role

    • 4-Year Degree in Data Management, IT, Computer Science or equivalent

    • Minimum 7+ years of professional experience, preferably in Data Management / Data transformation with technical understanding of Syndication tools like Salsify, 1 WS, ideally in the consumer goods industry

    • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Agile

    • DAMA certifications or equivalent data certification is a plus

    • Knowledge of business area and business processes (e.g. how business collects and sends product information to customers)

    • Proven experience partnering with business functions on transformations

    • Proven experience managing IT solutions / products

    • Sound technology knowledge for technologies of choice

    • SCRUM and practical Agile experience

    • Understanding of DevOps practices and ability to implement those within product teams

    • Excellent communicator
