    This role is for an experienced Project Manager in the newly announced Power Transformers factory in Charlotte, NC. The candidate must have a solid understanding of basic Project Management principles to execute customer as well as capital projects according to safety, quality, cost and schedule requirements. Great opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, looking to be part of this organizational ramp-up and have an impact for the future of the Power Transformer business in the US! Candidate must be located in or willing to relocate to Charlotte, NC.

    How You'll Make an Impact

    • Bachelor's degree required.

    • 8+ years of solid Project Management experience, ideally including management of complex, high-value projects related to power transformers, construction or business development projects.

    • Ability to lead cradle-to-grave project management oversight involving engineering, procurement, manufacturing and shipment of power plant equipment.

    • PMP or IPMA Certification is a plus.

    What You Bring

    • Excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers.

    • Self-motivated to produce high quality results within the time allocated, with limited supervision.

    • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, implement process improvements, and co-ordination with manufacturing, suppliers, and customer.

    • Strong work ethic and initiative to get the job done on time and with high quality!

    • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
