    Required Education, Experience, & Skills

    As a Hardware Engineering Lead, you will provide project level leadership to ensure successful execution of program plans and accomplishment of engineering department goals. You ll guide teams performing research, development, and consulting assignments of a professional technical nature where extensive and diversified knowledge of hardware engineering principles and practices are necessary to successfully accomplish objectives.

    Required Job Skills, Responsibilities, & Experience include:

    1. BSEE or BSME with 8 years or commensurate experience leading engineering teams

    2. Possesses solid technical leadership practices for multi-disciplinary engineering teams engaged in the design and development of state-of-the-art electro-mechanical products

    3. Team sizes may range from small to large (5, 10, to 20 )

    4. Team disciplines include Mechanical (ME), Electrical (EE), Optical (EE), RF Design, FPGA Design, Design Drafting (DD)

    5. Proven experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring project schedules, budgets, and productivity metrics to ensure efficient team performance

    6. Implementing an established Hardware Engineering design processes to achieve product quality and consistency

    7. Possesses sound interpersonal communication skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel, customers, and suppliers

    8. Experience supporting new business capture and proposal teams with development of hardware engineering cost/schedule estimates

    9. Capable of exercising independent discretion and judgment in the performance of engineering duties

    10. Utilizes computer skills to prepare appropriate reports, documents, and presentations for internal/external distribution

    11. Ability to develop and implement design solutions, processes, and systems within budget and schedule requirements

    12. Experience with design and develop of products and services using state-of-the-art engineering technologies, principles, theories and concepts.

    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

    1. Current DoD Security Clearance

    2. Experience and/or Certification with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) project management techniques

    3. Experience with design of Electro-optic/Optomechanical technologies

    4. Experience with designing for high-g environment survivability

    5. Expertise in design for survivability including aero-thermal loading

    6. Experience designing to cost (DTUPC) constraints

    7. Experience designing for manufacturability including automated assembly

    Pay Information

    Full-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
