Compensation and Schedule for the Healthcare Appointment Scheduler

Healthcare Appointment Scheduler - Full-time, onsite, $18-$19 per hour, Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm during training. Join a supportive team with great benefits!

Required Qualifications of the Healthcare Appointment Scheduler

• 1+ year of medical scheduling experience required

• Call center experience preferred

• High school diploma or GED required

• Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Responsibilities of the Healthcare Appointment Scheduler

• Handle 60-100 inbound calls per day

• Schedule and reschedule patient appointments for multiple specialties

• Triage calls to correct department if needed

• Take patient demographics and update existing patient information

• Collect insurance information to enter into system

• Answer patient questions

• Give directions regarding appointments
