  • Description

    Provides assistance to employee inquiries relating to HR policies and programs. Maintains and tracks human resource statistics including vacations, sick leave, hours of work, seniority, and temporary/casual employment. Processes new hires, terminations, changes. Prepares Kronos and Ultipro information for payroll processing. Processes and administers corporate and HR programs and policies for plant. Administer leaves of absence for plant, to include: medical, FMLA, STD, LTD. Conducts new employee orientations and actively participates in open enrollment process.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    Excellent interpersonal, decision making/judgment, organizational and planning skills with demonstrated ability to think critically. Solid understanding of plant's Collective Bargaining Agreements. Proven ability to judge and respect matters of confidentially and deal effectively with situations which have the potential to be adversarial in nature. Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize to meet deadlines. Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently.
