    We are seeking a strategic Human Resources Program Manager for our Billerica, MA manufacturing facility. This role is pivotal as you will be the key business partner for the plant, collaborating with the site leadership team to drive the achievement of short- and long-term business goals. In addition, you will also serve as the HRBP for both Billerica and Bedford, making a significant impact in these locations.

    In addition, this dynamic, high-energy, results-oriented HR leader will create proactive plans and will partner with the HR Centers of Excellence (COE's) to ensure the effective execution of programs and initiatives in talent acquisition, culture change, ID&E (inclusion, diversity & equity) performance management, talent management and development, employee relations, total rewards and recognition, training, change management, and organization effectiveness. The client groups you will support include the Manufacturing Group (OPEX, Engineering, Quality, Production, EHS, and Facilities). This position will be 5 days onsite based in Billerica, MA.

    A Day in the Life

    Reporting to the Sr. Human Resources Program Manager working alongside the East Region Manufacturing Platform leader, you will serve as a key leader in the site leadership team in our manufacturing site in Billerica, MA where you will:

    • Design strategic initiatives to ensure organizational effectiveness within our Medtronic systems and structures

    • Nimbly lead the organization through periods of significant change

    • Provide leadership for talent strategies within their areas of responsibility

    • Provide strategic direction to build upon our high-performing, inclusive, and ethical culture in line with the Medtronic Mindset

    • Participate actively in the leadership team, continuing to foster a high-performing, highly collaborative, and inclusive team atmosphere.

    • Play an essential role as a participating member of the Medtronic Manufacturing Global HR leadership team; providing input into HR strategy creation and leadership in strategic priorities delivery.

    Supporting Organization Effectiveness / Organization Development/Organization Design, you will:

    • Ensure effective utilization and alignment of HR with business needs.

    • Partner with management to ensure effective organization structure, design, and staffing models in line with organization capability requirements to help increase overall organization effectiveness

    • Suggest and implement activities to build a common focus and united team approach within each group in the organization.

    • Partner with clients to implement regular Talent Reviews, Organization Reviews, Career Development Planning, Performance Reviews, Workforce Planning, Organization Health assessments and surveys, etc.

    Supporting Change Management/Organization Leadership, you will:

    • Partner with site leadership to develop and implement strategies to take the business to the next level. Working with HR COEs to ensure leadership for strategic workforce planning, organization changes, and re-alignments.

    • Design and lead change strategies that build upon our fast-paced & inclusive culture.

    • Develop a strong knowledge of the business, products, markets, and competitors, and serve as a key business partner, trusted advisor, and change agent.

    Supporting Training, Development, and Performance Management/Leadership, you will :

    • Partner with the COE Global Learning and Leadership Development Team to lead and implement the employee and leadership development strategy within their assigned client organizations.

    • Consult on the site training and development needs within their client groups.

    • Develop strategies to identify targeted development needs within their groups and improve opportunities to deliver training.

    • Ensure that client groups and HR direct reports have clear expectations and receive regular informal performance feedback and cycle-driven formal feedback.

    Supporting Employee Relations & Communications, you will:

    • Partner with the COE Employee Relations hub and leadership to anticipate, identify, and facilitate resolution of employee relations issues.

    • Act as an internal consultant, identifying and partnering with others as appropriate to address issues (e.g., employee morale, interpersonal issues, turnover, work conditions, etc.).

    • Counsel leaders consistent with Medtronic policies/practices, legal considerations, and company priorities-advocating company and employee concerns.

    • Possess a thorough knowledge of relevant legislative requirements and ensure Medtronic's employment practices are compliant.

    Supporting Talent Acquisition, you will:

    • Partner with the COE Talent Acquisition Team to identify critical talent and build organization capabilities.

    • Effectively develop strategies to recruit and fill open positions and future talent needs with superior talent while ensuring a diversity of talent for each open position.

    • Support client groups in effectively identifying and planning for future talent needs and continually upgrading the talent we bring into the organization.

    • Work to build internal bench strength in client organizations so that we have ?the right talent at the right place at the right time.

    Must Have: Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelors degree required

    • Minimum of 5 years of combined relevant Human Resources and Project Management experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of combined relevant Human Resources and Project Management experience

    Nice to Have

    • Experienced HR leader with a successful track record in a fast-paced global business.

    • Previous HRBP roles in medical device, technology, or healthcare, supporting leadership teams in developing and executing HR Strategy.

    • Results orientation - proven ability to meet goals consistently and go beyond them. Demonstrates a high sense of urgency and creativity, & is comfortable leading through ambiguity & managing multiple projects.

    • Strong influencing skills, ability to communicate with impact utilizing tailored communication and create authentic and trusting relationships to influence clients, primarily related to organizational planning & design. Confidence in one's own ideas as demonstrated by external conference speaking engagements, published articles, participation in panel discussions, industry association work, or teaching

    • Strong strategic orientation - ability to think beyond one's own area and apply critical thinking, incorporating both analytical and conceptual abilities.

    • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to reach across boundaries internally and externally to develop an extensive network of partnerships. Experience in a global matrix management structure and working with a virtual workforce. Ability to manage a complex set of stakeholders

    • Demonstrated ability to accomplish work through others, including leading project teams. Demonstrated experience in initiating and leading change, including modeling the importance, motivating others, managing the critical drivers of change, and overcoming obstacles

    • Demonstrated career flexibility and adaptation skills (e.g., successful industry or company changes with a minimal learning curve; cross-cultural experience and flexibility if dictated by the scope of the organization)

    • Strong coaching, consulting, and facilitation skills

    The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
