    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Operations Associate Director to oversee our organization's security operations. The Security Operations Associate Director will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing security strategies, tools, policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the protection of the organization's assets, employees, customers, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of our operations by implementing effective security strategies and programs. This position will require strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders. With the added responsibility of leading large scale project efforts regarding the deployment of security tool and capabilities. These projects include managing both internal and external security service.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and manage security strategies, policies, procedures, and standards to protect the organization's assets, employees, customers, and stakeholders

    • Assess and mitigate security risks by identifying, analyzing, and evaluating threats and vulnerabilities, and develop appropriate risk mitigation plans

    • Monitor and assess compliance with security policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements

    • Conduct security audits, assessments, and evaluations to identify and assess risks and vulnerabilities, and recommend remedial actions

    • Coordinate and collaborate with other departments, business units, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of security strategies and objectives with organizational goals

    • A key participant in managing security incidents, investigations, and responses, including coordination with law enforcement, legal, and other stakeholders

    • Manage a constant drive to increase the overall security posture and maturity

    • Develop and manage security budgets, resources, and staffing plans, including training and development programs for security staff

    • Stay up to date with security technologies, trends, and best practices, and implement them where appropriate

    • Manage both internal and external security service providers

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree

    • At least 12 years of information technology security experience

    • At least 6 years of management experience

    OR

    • At least 14 years of information technology security experience

    • At least 6 years of management experience

    Additional Requirements

    • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.     Desired Skills

    • A degree in security management, criminal justice, or related

    • Experience in security operations, risk management, or related field

    • Experience in a leadership or managerial role

    • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing security strategies, policies, and procedures

    • Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities In-depth knowledge of security technologies, standards, and best practices

    • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels

    • Experience leading and developing technical resources

    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment

    • Professional security certifications such as CPP, PSP, CISSP, or CISM preferred
