Our IT Team is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer II with a background in systems and infrastructure engineering. This role requires someone who is experienced in developing and administering robust, resilient, and efficient IT Infrastructure designed with security in mind.

Logistics

The first 3 months of the role will be on-site in San Mateo, CA, then hybrid 3 days in the office

responsibilities

• Infrastructure Responsibilities - Design, implement, maintain, and administer a robust, scalable, and secure IT Infrastructure environment. Architecture and administration of Windows domain infrastructure, virtualization, networking, storage, cloud, and security.Evaluate existing systems, and propose improvements or upgrades to optimize performance, reliability, and security. Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure components to identify and resolve performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and other system-related problems.

• Training Responsibilities - Write and perform training for IT Infrastructure and Service Desk staff on various technologies and applications. Review and update technical training and documentation materials to reflect current processes and tools. Conduct document reviews with the Director of IT Operations & Information Security and VP of Technology.

• Support Responsibilities - Assist in IT Service Desk/Desktop Support coverage as an escalation point for the IT Service Desk when needed. Have an understanding of Client/Server and Network Architecture. Will need to be able to troubleshoot and provide resolution in a technical and non-technical capacity.
