Description: International Business Development Representative for Hypersonic and Strike Systems based in Orlando, Florida. This person will be a business pursuit and Capture Lead for the Air Weapons and Sensors porftolio. This includes air-launched weapons and derivative systems, EO/IR targeting systems and advanced developmental efforts for fighter/bomber applications. Additional responsibility for shaping logistics and sustainment support requirements, platform integration initiatives, and follow-on program growth opportunities domestically and in multiple countries worldwide; extensive travel is required. Specific responsibilities include:
Identify air launched weapons and sensors markets and adjacent business opportunities, establish and execute the strategy to capture those opportunities
Interface with the customer and shape their tactical, operational, and strategic weapon and system requirements, taking into account international customer needs, existing capabilities and funding availability
Closely coordinate with Program Management, their staffs and functional organizations
Identify new and adjacent business opportunities and establish the strategy for capturing those opportunities
Develop and maintain productive business relationships with relevant current and potential international organizations, partner companies and suppliers
Coordinate activities with appropriate US government offices and Country Teams to garner and sustain their support and to ascertain current status of initiatives within the US Government
Secure required US policy approval and export licenses to market products internationally
Act as the primary contact for customer inquiries, general correspondence, requests for technical and pricing data, and other business transactions
Monitor Foreign Military Sales contract negotiations with the US Government and participate in Direct Commercial Sales contract negations with foreign customers
Develop and manage input for the company's Long Range Operating Plan
Lead or assist others in proposal development
Develop overhead, capital and new business acquisition expenditure requirements
Conduct business in strict compliance with all corporate and company command media and within applicable state, federal, and international regulations
Basic Qualifications:
12+ years of business development and/or operational experience
A high degree of flexibility and the ability to travel worldwide without restriction. Must be able to operate and thrive in a fast paced international environment. Must be self-motivated and able to operate with minimal guidance and succeed in a highly competitive arena.
Superior knowledge of potential international customers and demonstrated customer relations skills
Ability to understand and interpret international customers' needs and requirements and relate them back to programmatic processes
Complete understanding of the Department of Defense budgeting and acquisition processes and ability to relate them to the Foreign Military Sales program
Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to clearly articulate strategies at multiple levels of business and government
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
Team Player - effective at organizing and motivating a diverse set of individuals in pursuit of common objectives
Deal closer - highly effective at bringing tasks and projects to a successful and timely conclusion
Desired Skills:
Experience in Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control's products and services areas
Demonstrated capture expertise
Operational fighter aircraft experience and/or knowledge of (or experience with) JASSM, LRASM or similar weapons, launchers and weapon delivery platforms, strike/fighter aircraft and/or guided weapons systems, EO/IR targeting systems to include IRST and Sniper ATP
International business experience with knowledge of cultures and customs
Experience in US FMS process and/or major Direct Commercial Sales acquisition
Post Graduate degree in Business or Engineering
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
