    CACI is looking for a motivated self-starter to fill an IT Operations - T2 position that directly configures and supports the mission equipment for the Range, Communications, and Network segments of the U.S. Air Force Satellite Control Network (SCN). This position is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with IT operations and showcase your skills in configuration management and attention to detail.

    What You'll Get to Do:

    • Be responsible for configuring mission equipment in accordance with established build procedure for the client's systems in accordance with the SCN configurations concepts.

    • Coordinate closely with cybersecurity, networking, software, and test engineering teams when support is required to establish new system build procedures or refine existing procedures.

    • Maintain a close working relationship with site administrators to provide clarification on configurations as needed.

    • Provide informational support to the Contractor Supported Weapons Systems (CSWS) logistics process to include Providing location data, nomenclature, and characterization for new and deleted equipment; Provide data for Sparing Analysis; Provide licensing guidance

    • Provide informational support to the Engineering Documentation Management process to include USAF Tech Order (T.O.) creation and modification as discrepancies are discovered or changes are needed.

    • Troubleshoot Windows OS and Microsoft application security patch installations.

    • Communicate clearly and concisely in voice, written word, and graphics to conduct formal milestone customer briefings

    • Support installs and configuration of systems at customer locations as needed.

    • Assist in every day troubleshooting at the lab environment set up to mimic the AFSCN

    You'll Bring These Qualifications:

    • General working knowledge of Microsoft, and Linux Operating systems

    • Possess core understanding of IT fundamentals including knowledge of hardware functions (switches, routers, servers etc.), database functions, storage, and networking

    • Have excellent customer relationship skills

    • Have excellent communication skills

    • Be a self-starter willing to seek knowledge and broaden their understanding of their areas of responsibility

    • Have exceptional time management skills and ability to switch between project tasks effectively and multitask on simultaneous system configurations at the same time.

    • B.A./B.S. plus 3 years of experience in configuration of IT systems, or experience in executing technical procedural based instructions (or seven years of experience in lieu of degree).

    • Ability to obtain DoD 8570 A+ Certification within 60 Days of hire date.

    • Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance

    These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

    • CompTIA Security + Certification

    • Microsoft or Linux Operating system certifications

    • Experience with legacy operating systems

    • Experience with firmware-based devices

    The proposed salary range for this position is

    $47,100-$96,500
