  • As the IT Program Director for the Aerospace Technologies Engineering and Global Program Management Office, you will be the senior IT leader and face of Honeywell IT. You will be accountable for all aspects of IT for your functions including strategic planning, project planning, implementation, and support. You will work closely with corporate shared services IT teams to deliver a portfolio of projects on time and budget and to support a portfolio of applications to service levels.

    You will have direct and indirect reports and report to a Vice President of Aerospace IT. You will work out of our Aerospace Technologies headquarters in Phoenix on a hybrid three-day-plus office schedule.

    In this role, you will have a significant impact on the speed, productivity, and growth of the Aerospace Technologies division by solving business problems using technology like AI, high performance computing, simulation lifecycle management, product lifecycle management, model-based engineering, program management, among others. Your ability to provide leadership and strategic oversight for IT will significantly influence the organization's ability to achieve its goals and deliver successful outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement Aerospace solution roadmaps in collaboration with corporate and Aerospace teams

    • Collaborate with Aerospace management and enterprise IT to develop annual budgets for respective business areas

    • Develop solution concepts and Business Cases for new investments

    • Perform business analysis and prepare recommendations and business plans

    • Create and analyze relevant information and develop recommendations for presenting to senior management

    • Act as the key liaison across all functional areas, including business units and information technology

    • Create shared vision of their respective solutions and facilitate decision making and arbitration relating to trade-offs both within and between different solution platforms. Drive adoption of Honeywell standard IT solutions called the "Global Design Model" wherever possible. Highlight Aerospace gaps and drive to a solution that works for Aerospace.

    • Develop and implement sound rationale for portfolio management and for managing product phase-in/phase-out plans, proactively anticipating gaps and overlaps within the portfolio

    • Create consensus with other functions as to the timing of solution introductions and retirement

    • Oversee the launch of solution and maximize the positive impact on the organization-ensure benefits realization

    • Identify, screen, and evaluate new solution opportunities to address unmet internal and external customer needs

    • Partner with key staff members to contribute to strategic business plans

    • Possess strong analytical skills, including an understanding of business economics and financial resources

    • Develop, train, and manage the IT professionals on your team.

    You Must Have

    • 8+ years of related experience in IT or engineering or related function combined

    • 5+ years of project or portfolio management experience
