This high-performing team of Software & Java Developers, Software Engineers, and Systems Engineers are developing and enhancing the geolocation infrastructure supporting the warfighter. This team does much more than software development. They modernize legacy capabilities, integrate products, implement automation efficiencies, and support operational systems. Develop new or update existing capabilities and applications predominately using Java
Develop automation for installation and testing including CI/CD
Test and debug existing software code for network-connected systems
Perform software integration and testing as needed with other applications to validate end-to-end functionality
Collaborate with a team of Software and Systems engineers in an Agile environment to analyze requirements, derive user stories, track issues, and create user documentation
Provide Tier III Support for deployed capabilities and address bug fixes

Here's what you'll need :
Top Secret with Polygraph
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
7 years' experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
4 years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Experience developing software in a Linux environment
Experience with Java software development and JMS
Experience with integration of software applications
Experience in the ability to understand and write automated scripts (Python, Bash)
Knowledge of software automation tools, i.e. Ansible
Experience with Scrum and the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence)
Knowledge of databases such as Mongo or MySQL
Knowledge of Java development IDEs (e.g., IntelliJ, Eclipse)
Experience with Git and/or Gitlab
Experience with Gradle
