    We are in the market for a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Newark, Delaware. The role primarily involves providing technical assistance to our in-house team, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of desktop computing within the company. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

    100% ONSITE IN NEWARK, DELAWARE

    Responsibilities

    • Provide on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of basic to intermediate desktop problems for end users.

    • Implement corrective solutions, including off-site repair for remote users as required.

    • Handle the lifting of equipment weighing between 11-25 lbs.

    • Build, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot desktop computer systems.

    • Create and review support tickets to move, change, install, report, or remove computers, printers, monitors or data communications equipment such as modems, cables, and wires.

    • Collaborate with LAN technicians/network admins to ensure efficient operation of the desktop computing environment.

    • Manage helpdesk support tickets, follow up, and close them in a timely manner.

    • Provide efficient and prompt customer service support.

    • Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software support issues with wireless access and desk and/or mobile phones.

    • Assist staff with proper inventory of all office IT equipment and software licenses.

    • Monitor industry websites or publications for information about patches, releases, viruses, or potential problem identification.

    The role requires skills in Basic Troubleshooting, Desktop Hardware, and Hardware Troubleshooting.

    • Possess strong skills in basic troubleshooting

    • Proficient in handling desktop hardware

    • Demonstrated capability in hardware troubleshooting

    • Able to provide technical support and resolve IT issues

    • Knowledge of desktop operating systems and software applications

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Ability to work independently and in a team

    • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
