    We are looking for:

    This individual shall be responsible for analyzing raw material, in-process intermediate and finished products to meet quality specifications.

    We can count on you for:

    • performing a variety of laboratory tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products

    • maintaining detailed documentation and data as a result of tests

    • contributing to the continuation of quality system AS9100 certification

    • participating in site safety, quality and operations improvement initiatives

    • providing communications and coordination with appropriate site personnel as necessary to ensure safe and efficient operations

    • preparing, completing, updating and maintaining all reports, records, and documentation as assigned

    • adhering to all safety standards, rules, procedures, and requirements while utilizing proper safety equipment, protective devices, clothing and safe work habits and practices in performance of job duties

    • adhering to all environmental practices, rules, standards and procedures requirements

    • handling hazardous waste in accordance with departmental procedures and regulatory requirements

    • adhering to all site, company and regulatory standards, policies, rules, and requirements

    • operating and maintaining lab equipment and supplies

    • assisting in instrument troubleshooting

    • assisting in generating final product Certificates of Analysis for shipments

    • assisting in maintaining laboratory supply inventory

    • assisting in maintaining the sample retain store room

    • assisting in inspection and acceptance of incoming raw materials

    • maintaining housekeeping standards in work area

    • supporting a commitment to RC-14001 Responsible Care

    • performing other duties as needed

    You will bring:

    EDUCATION, SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

    • Associate's degree in chemistry

    • 2 years of experience in a QC lab environment

    CORE COMPETENCIES
