Laboratory Assistant

Position Summary : Professional, working along-side, and learning from Medical Technologists to perform specific duties that aide in the production of high-quality laboratory testing.

Position Requirements :

High School Diploma preferred

Phlebotomy experience/certification preferred

Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant preferred

Bachelor Degree in a biological or chemical science is preferred

• Ability to take direction and learn complex processes

• Ability to work and handle all specimens for testing, including: blood, urine, sputum, stool, and tissue

• Ability to act professionally in person and on the telephone

• Good work ethic and good attendance is a must
