Job Description:

L3Harris in Salt Lake City is actively looking for a talented Signal processing or Communications Analysis Engineer to provide technical knowledge and expertise in the area of communications systems and EW for DoD programs and joint research programs. We design, develop, and test communication systems, advanced electronic warfare systems and multi-function systems. L3Harris development efforts include the whole lifecycle of designs from proposals, requirement definition, coding, simulation, synthesis, place and route, verification testing, and system support. This position would focus on algorithm design, analysis, simulation and implementation support. We are looking for an engineer who enjoys challenging work with a team of talented engineers and can work well both with a team and as an individual contributor. Areas of expected technical experience or education include:

• Use of and experience using MATLAB or similar analytical tools

• Experience with one or more of the following: Architecture, FPGA, VHDL, or C++/C#/C

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related software engineering experience.
