    Overview

    We are looking for an experienced and passionate Lead Product Experience Designer to join our Ethoca design team. The ideal candidate will have a healthy balance of design and research skills combined with a collaborative approach to their design process. You will be part of a small design team working on tools that assist in bringing purchase insights to card holders and enable card issuers and merchants to manage card holder post purchase experiences.

    Role

    • Identify and enhance critical moments and opportunities throughout product journeys to address customer needs and differentiate experiences

    • Guide teams across product lifecycles from vision through iterative execution

    • Craft engaging experiences that drive adoption through thoughtful and usable interaction, information design, and research

    • Ensure design concepts fully explore multiple options, and conduct appropriate research to determine the best solution

    • Employ prototypes to evaluate product, test assumptions, and communicate an experience with teams

    • Utilize hypothesis testing and research to drive decisions and influence stakeholders

    All About You

    • Are an experienced designer, who carefully considers how the customer will interact with the product, from overall journey level right down to the smallest detail

    • Understand and have experience applying various user research methodologies

    • Are experienced working in an Agile environment (Scrum) and Design Thinking methodologies.

    • Are a strong collaborator, experienced in partnering with Product Management and Engineering

    • Understand and strive to achieve balance between business, technical, and user needs and know how to collaborate with a team to create solutions that meet each need

    • Have strong awareness of common interaction patterns and know when and how to apply

    • Have a history of creating impactful, desirable, and usable experiences

    • Have a portfolio of work that demonstrate your process as well as showcasing completed design solutions

    • Have previously worked on complex projects in large business settings

    • Are a critical thinker who strives for improvement with strong presentation skills the ability to influence
