Description

We are seeking a Lead Structural Engineer - Federal to join our team , to lead and work on various Structural Engineer and Federal projects. Position requires working on fast paced technically complex design/build projects in the Federal space. The incumbent independently applies advanced engineering techniques, makes decisions on engineering problems and methods, and represents the organization to resolve important questions or to negotiate with key engineers and officials in other organizations.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with an emphasis on structural engineering.

• Minimum Ten years of experience in structural design.

• Knowledge of UFCs is a must.

• Experience with UFGS is a must.

• Experience with ATFP and the PDC is a must.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with an emphasis on structural engineering.

• Minimum Ten years of experience in structural design.

• Knowledge of UFCs is a must.

• Experience with UFGS is a must.

• Experience with ATFP and the PDC is a must.

• Prefer experience in design-build or other alternative delivery.

• Prefer both CONUS and OCONUS experience.

• Prefer experience with progressive collapse & blast design.

• Prefer NCEES model law SE and/or an SE in a western state such as CA, WA, OR, or AK.

• DoD experience not required but strongly preferred.

• Experience with NGB, VA, GSA, DoS, USCG, and others could be relevant depending on project type.

• Preferred experience in lateral designs in high seismic regions.
