A local leader in the gasket and seals industry, is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Machine Operator to join their industrial production team on first shift - 6:30am to 3:30pm. You will set up and program various machines, including die-cutting and extrusion equipment, and presses to create parts. During production, you must monitor the machinery and conduct regular quality checks to ensure they are running properly and that the parts are being produced according to specifications. Accuracy is crucial to our production, so all candidates must have attention to detail and be extremely focused on their work. Responsibilities

You will set up and program various machines and equipment to create parts. Previous Die-Cutting, Water Jet Cutting and Flash Jet Cutting experience, a plus. During production, you must monitor the machinery and conduct regular quality checks to ensure they are running properly and that the parts are being produced according to specifications. Accuracy is crucial to our production, so all candidates must have attention to detail and be extremely focused on their work.

Machine Setup Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• Setup a variety of mechanical press equipment

• Complete all documentation as required

• Assist in instructing operators when placed on jobs

• Work in conjunction with Quality Control to ensure products are made to specified requirements

Qualifications

• Previous experience setting up various mechanical equipment

• Experience setting single stroke and progressive tooling along with setting straighteners and feeders a plus.

• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools

• Mechanical background desired

• 2+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist or Machine Operator

• Extrusion experience, a plus
