Machine Operator Trainee

Machine Operator Trainee | Schaumburg, IL

$20 per hour

Job Description:

As a machine operator trainee you will start by being responsible for bringing products to the machines to be sanitized using a pallet jack. This is a 12-18 month training program where candidates will learn all aspects of operating the sanitation equipment. From loading material into the machine, to set up and troubleshooting the machine at 18 months.

Shift:

12 Hour Rotating

Responsibilities:

• Basic Day to Day will be spent either loading the product or off loading the product from the conveyor.

• Candidates will use a forklift to move pallets of product near the machine.

• They will unwrap the pallet, and start stacking the totes according to the instructions.

• The instructions will tell candidates exactly how the product needs to be loaded into the tote.

• Unloading duties are similar, but they will be unloading the totes and putting the product back onto the pallets exactly how they came in.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma / GED

• Experience being on their feet for 12 hours per day

• Lifting ranges from 20 - 50lbs per bag.

• 6 months general labor/manufacturing experience
