Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Maintenance Mechanic. In this role, you will perform mechanical services on equipment on a daily basis. A good working knowledge of precision alignment, welding, blueprint reading, mathematics, and preventative and predictive maintenance is required. You will be using hand tools such as power tools - hand grinders, saws, drill press, hydraulic pullers, etc., and also perform welding. You will also be responsible for completing preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the facility, modifying or building equipment by reading and comprehending electrical/mechanical schematics, blueprints, and/or operation manuals, and documenting completed work and the conditions found, utilizing maintenance computer software as necessary. Regular interaction with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork-focused environment is also a crucial part of this role.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in NA, Iowa.

Work Environment

This position will be onsite at our location in Cedar Rapids. The working hours are from 7am - 5:30 PM, Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday (candidates can choose their preferred working days). No weekend work is required.
