Maintenance Supervisor

Description:

• Direct reports

o Maintenance Manager - PMP, any recurring maintenance issues

o Boiler/Heating personnel - current loads, shutdowns, maintenance

o Construction and Projects Manager - status updates

• Check in with VP Operations and Head Grower to determine additional needs or issues in the greenhouse or growing fields

o Update VP Ops and Head Grower on status of any ongoing issues that he/she may be waiting on for production of plants

• Ensure any, and all, reporting of equipment or tools for regulatory authorities is completed

• Ensure shop organization and inventory is being maintained

• Audit maintenance logs to ensure they are being kept

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Oversight of critical infrastructure

o Heating and cooling - ensuring environmental conditions for plants

o Electricity and Power

o Water

• Oversight of maintenance department

o Preventative Maintenance Program (PMP)

o Measuring progress - reducing lost time to equipment malfunction or breakdown

• Oversight of all construction and projects

o Planning and layout, working with suppliers, budgeting

o Leading and delegating to job supervisor

o Measuring progress to meet anticipated completion date

• Ensure these departments contribute to meeting companies strategic objectives

o Product excellence

o Growth

o Profitability
