Due to growing operations, a prominent Manufacturer in the Uniondale area is seeking a Buyer to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of Buyer experience in a manufacturing environment. The company provides a comprehensive benefits package and generous PTO!

responsibilities

Detail Oriented individual capable of multi-tasking and supporting the materials and purchasing department in all aspects of procurement and reporting.

• Placing orders

• Expediting

• Vendor RMA's

• Quoting

• Data entry and maintenance of quotes

• Vendor Maintenance

• Vendor Set Ups

• Supplier reports

• Assist in resolving accounting issues

• Electronic manufacturing background a must

• Associates Degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field

• 2+ years of purchasing, supply chain, or related experience in electronics manufacturing environment

• Experience with ERP systems is a must

• Knowledge of MRP processes

• Excel and Word Required
