  • Description

    Drive lean and productivity improvement initiatives plant-wide through the development and implementation of new processes, equipment and procedures.

    Participate in Lean activities including Kaizen events, 5S, 8D, Preventative Maintenance programs, root cause analysis, 5 Why and other Lean tools to enhance productivity.

    Assists Global Product Line Managers with new product in the development to meet the demand of our Customers in a cost-effective manner.

    Assists Manufacturing with the development of processes and improvements for existing and new equipment introductions.

    Research and write Capital Expenditure Requests (CER's) for new equipment purchases designed to enhance productivity and quality.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    Minimum 1 year of experience surrounding capital equipment

    Minimum 2 years of cost-savings techniques

    Minimum 2 years of experience working with tight tolerances in a metal manufacturing setting

    Efficient in Microsoft

    4 year degree in engineering
