What you will be doing:
Working with our marketing team, this role will help develop and execute marketing strategies, overseeing deliverables, and ensuring client satisfaction.
As an ICF Marketing Specialist, you work with client leadership to bring to live innovative efforts including advertising, social media, events, outreach, and partnerships. Along with our local marketing team, you'll closely collaborate with our SoCal program team, national subject matter experts, and award-winning in-house creative agency to deliver high-quality work.
To be successful in this position, you'll need strong communication and interpersonal skills, and enjoy working with a diverse team. You should have exceptional organizational skills and experience moving shared projects through to completion, preferably in an agency or consulting setting. You are able to manage multiple workstreams, and seamlessly work across different communications channels. Along with your professional skills, you bring personal interest in and enthusiasm for positive climate and community impact. We are looking for someone who is as passionate about our work as we are with skills and attitude to drive it forward.
Responsibilities Include:
Assist in the planning, development and implementation of marketing and outreach strategies
Provide input and recommendations for various plans and activities
Work with creative team to develop assets such as collateral, outbound email, social media, website content and event presence
Own key deliverables from outset through completion
Lead deployment of email and social campaigns
Help develop presentations and other communications tools
Track multiple team deliverables using Microsoft tools
Track and report on marketing campaign metrics
Assist with event coordination, on-site brand presence, and representation as needed
Attend 2-3 in-person client meetings monthly in downtown Los Angeles and quarterly events around the region.
What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or applicants can substitute one year of related experience for one year of education)
2+ years of experience in account management, project management, or marketing, preferably in an agency or consultancy setting
Experience using marketing platforms such as ConstantContact, Hootsuite, SurveyMonkey or similar platforms
Experience using social platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn and/or TikTok
What we would like you to have:
Understanding of social media channels and related video content, including TikTok
General knowledge of energy, environment, and climate issues
Agency or consultancy experience
Experience with B2C marketing
Personal experience and understanding of the wider Los Angeles region

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
$54,397.00 - $92,475.00
