Material Handler

Description:

Candidate will work in a steel distribution center where they ship and cut metal coils for their customers.

Candidates will operate an overhead crane, sit down industrial forklift, utilize saws, and cutting mechanisms for coils. Learn every aspect of receiving and shipping steel products.

Candidates will read work orders, perform all housekeeping duties, and must be flexible for all duties as assigned and will start the day with production goals in mind for how many pieces they need to process, cut, package, QC and bundle before they are shipped.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Candidates must have warehouse experience in a heavy industrial environment. Candidates must have tape measure experience as they will QC all the product and a keen attention to detail for various sizes of metal products. Will also help in building skids at times.
