Mechanical Engineer

Description

Actalent is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D Team. This candidate will have strong experience in Mechanical Design as well as competency reviewing blueprints and managing requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

REQUIRED

-3+ years of Mechanical Engineering Experience. Regulated/Medical Device is a plus.

-Able to perform testing.

-Previous experience dealing with paperwork and documentation is required.

-Previous experience dealing with suppliers/or the ability/competency to deal with a supplier is required.

PREFERRED

-Previous exposure to the design control process-being involved in an environment where work will be signed off on-is a strongly preferred qualification.

-Previous experience with rubber or plastics/molding injected processes

-Solidworks experience is highly preferred

-Previous experience with GD&T is preferred

-Experience working in sterilization processes or working with disposables is preferred.
