    AT&T has an opening for a Network Operations Center (NOC) Network Administrator providing operations support to an important government customer in Chandler, Arizona. The Network Administrator is responsible for leading infrastructure availability meets established SLA and accepted performance metrics. The NOC Network Administrator will provide management and support to vendor and technology diverse networks and infrastructure. This position is a lead role in a highly technical team responsible for 24x7x365 support of a worldwide network containing over 2,800 networking devices (switches, routers and firewalls). The position also supports several network management systems that monitor the availability of the different layers of the environments IP stack (devices, applications, interfaces, etc.).

    The job duties are as follows

    This role will include, but will not be limited to the following responsibilities:

    • Provide alarm monitoring/response, any needed escalation and resolution of incidents and mentoring of junior analysts through incident resolution process

    • Troubleshoots network systems when necessary and makes improvements to the network

    • Provide technical leadership of critical network incidents and drive internal and external resources in troubleshooting efforts

    • Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments

    • Administer Forward Networks application

    • Implement, install, configure, operate, and maintain a range of network operations tools and applications to include Juniper firewalls, Cisco WLAN, Extreme Management Center (XMC), Extreme NAC and Zscaler

    • Utilizes software and hardware tools and identifies and diagnoses complex problems and factors affecting network performance

    • Advanced troubleshooting and support all operational security requirements for network devices and network operations tools and applications

    • Advanced troubleshooting and support of the following NOC functional areas that include, but are not limited to:

    • Wireless LAN

    • Firewall management

    • Internet Protocol (IP) address management

    • Domain Name Server (DNS) administration

    • Understand dynamic multipoint VPNs

    • Effective communication to include writing skills

    • Establish plans and goals for self and Analyst that meet the customer current or future projects' needs

    • Prepare or participate in preparing NOC performance reports as required

    • Monitor, create, edit, and enforce all standard operating procedures, processes and timelines

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience

    • 10 years of experience in IT support or related field, preferability in network engineering or operations

    • 4 years of experience providing network support in one or more of the following areas:

    • Juniper SRX Firewalls configuration, troubleshooting, Policy configuration

    • Wireless Access Point (enterprise level) Management and Administration

    • Cisco ISE 3.0 (or later) configuration of access/authorization policies

    • Cisco CCNP certification, should have the ability to obtain the following within 120 days of the start date or as mutually agreed upon by the supervisor

    • Experience troubleshooting and resolving high-level LAN/WAN network incidents

    • Expert CCNP level switching/routing/troubleshooting in lead technical role including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VRRP, HSRP

    • Knowledge and understanding of Software-defined (SD) networking, including SD-WAN technologies

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass the DHS Employment Eligibility Verification process

    Desired Qualifications

    • Experience using and managing SPLUNK search heads

    • Experience administering Forward Networks, NetBrain, or other network automation tools

    • Experience in Windows 2012 and/or Linux server administration

    • Experience using SD-WAN technologies

    • Extreme certifications covering switching or network access control

    • Implementing Cisco SD-WAN Solutions v2.0 (300-415)

    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate

    • Microsoft Azure Networking Solutions (AZ-700)

    • CompTIA Cloud+ Cisco CCNP Security certification

    • Juniper JNCIA-SEC certification

    • Ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI security clearance if required

    Our NOC Network Administrator's earn between $79,600 -? $95,000. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
