    • The Nurse Manager is responsible for the management of clinical nursing practices and patient care delivery on the assigned unit(s), a ssigned units include Pre-Op, PACU, GI/ENDO, Pre-Admission/Procedural Testing, and Cath Lab. These sub-specialties are spread across 2 floors.

    • The role functions include management of human, fiscal, material, support and systems resources while achieving and maintaining the goals of a unit or department by focusing on the unit or department's daily operations.

    • The role demonstrates a high level of integrity, willingness to take on new challenges and prioritizes associate engagement.

    • This position consistently promotes a positive work environment by being visible and available to all levels of staff and customers.

    • The Nurse Manager supports associate development needs with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education,

    Schedule- Full Time- 40hrs/ week- Days- Variable shifts times per surgical volume and needs of unit- typically 5x8hrs

    No call required but may need to fill in on occasion to cover for team if need arises

    Approx. 95 Direct Reports inclusive or PAT, Prep Recovery (Same day surgery unit), PACU, Cath Lab, and Endoscopy

    Qualifications

    In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

    • 3 years RN experience, required

    • 1-year clinical leadership experience, required

    • Previous Pre OP PACU exp required

    • High School GED required

    • Previous Cath Lab and Endoscopy experience preferred

    • A degree in nursing (BSN or MSN), required

    • Masters Degree preferred

    • Current RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable, required

    • BLS through the American Heart Association

    • Must sit for appropriate board certification within six months of hire or transfer into the role. Certification must be passed/obtained within two years of hire or transfer into the role.

    • Clinical and/or Leadership certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer.

    • Credential: Nursing Specific- ANCC Approved

    Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

    Pay Range

    $45.75 - $77.19 / hour
