  • Job Description

    A large university in Arizona is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join their Clinical Research team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing research study visits, providing medical supervision, administering IVs, reading EKGs, and performing other research-related services for human clinical trials on research participants. You will provide supervision for all tests in the research environment. Each day is different depending on the active clinical trials so you must be willing and able to adapt. You will work with multiple team members so you must have strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate. You will perform physical examinations and keep track of participant medical histories. If needed, you may interpret lab results. You will assist with daily participant management to assure the most satisfactory participant care and safety.

    Skills and Requirements

    -3+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner

    -A current certification and license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)

    -ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

    -Good team player with the ability to adapt to different situations -Familiar with DEXA scanner null
