The Operations Supervisor plays a key role on our Aftermarket Operations Team. In this role you will be providing direction to skilled bargaining unit employees, leading employee engagement and continuous improvement efforts guided by our CORE operating system. Additionally, you will lead sustained improvements in safety, quality, production, material procurement, and cost reduction through the system's various elements.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversees production operations (shop floor management, workforce management, and flow disruption management), scheduling and personnel.

• Manages and supervises the work of manufacturing production disciplines in the Operations function.

• Performs professional or management work regularly across multiple Manufacturing disciplines.

• Ensures all quality related items are complete and documented to meet established quality standards.

• Assists in cost reduction and process improvement to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.

• Assists in scheduling so that production schedules are met.

• Assists in sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, to optimize productivity.

• Coordinates activities for materials and logistics problem resolution to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.

• Monitors performance to maximize productivity.

• Assists in production innovation, including additive manufacturing.

• Interacts and influences different disciplines (Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Engineering) in order to achieve the business goals of the cell.

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred.

• Experience working within a union environment.

• Experience with Continuous Improvement principles preferred.

• Project management experience preferred.

• Aerospace and/or repair station experience preferred.

Employee Referral Eligible

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
