BayCare is looking for Patient Care Technicians to join our team!

Patient Care Technician/PCT/Certified Nursing Assistant/CNA positions are available with Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor. If you would like to start working in a dynamic hospital environment in a supportive team environment providing hands-on care for patients with a leader in healthcare, please join BayCare as a Patient Care Technician.

• Full time hours are 3 twelve-hour shifts per week and every other weekend

• Part time hours are 2 twelve-hour shifts per week and every other weekend

• Day shifts are?6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

• Night shifts are 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

• Pool (with different shift commitments ranging from 2 twelve-hour shifts to 3 twelve-hour shifts per month, more shifts available if desired), limited availabiity

The Patient Care Technician:

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.

• Assists the nursing staff in the delivery of patient care as directed by the RN.

Position Requires:

• A minimum of one year of CNA work experience in a skilled nursing facility; or a minimum of 6 months of PCT (Patient Care Tech)/CNA work experience in a hospital; or in lieu of experience may have completed approved CNA school (with clinicals); or nursing student with completion of Nursing Fundamentals

• Extended new hire training and new hire department orientation is available for new Florida licensed CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant with no experience yet.

• High School Diploma or GED minimum

• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (from American Red Cross or American Heart Association)

• Ability to work Full time hours is a plus!
