Pickleball Instructor (part-time)

Part-time Pickleball Instructor needed at the Good Shepherd Health & Fitness Center (working approximately 6 hours per week on Tuesday & Thursday evenings)

HealthFitness is looking for a Pickleball Instructor to join the fitness team at our community client site located in Barrington, Illinois. In this position you will provide fun, effective, and safe group training experience to members participating in the program. This is a position teaching small group classes and overseeing open-play.

What you'll be doing

• Providing high quality individual and group Pickleball lessons.

• Setting up and breaking down of courts before and after lessons.

• Assisting in the promotion of Pickleball events and helping to answer member questions about classes, leagues, tournaments, etc.

• Performing other duties as needed/assigned.

What you'll need to have

• HealthFitness approved Pickleball certification required.

• Adult, Infant/Child First Aid and CPR/AED certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.

• Professional appearance and attitude.

• Ensure students/players adhere to HealthFitness safety guidelines and demonstrate good sportsmanship.

• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
