  • Our client is seeking a Pipeline Safety Engineer to join their team.

    Job Title: Pipeline Safety Engineer

    Location : Omaha, NE

    Pay Range : $36.00 / h

    What's the Job?

    • Coordinates and participates in Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration inspections scheduled by Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration. Coordinates or conducts internal pipeline safety audits.

    • Approves written procedures for strength tests, determines and documents maximum allowable operating pressures (MAOP).

    • Perform the review and evaluation of new guidelines and the implementation for required changes for pipeline safety.

    • Provides technical input on pipeline safety regulations to engineering, field operations, gas control, and other departments by interpreting rules, codes, and standards

    What's Needed?

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering

    • Knowledge on engineering principles and practices for analysis (pipeline/compression and LNG theory)

    • Knowledge in pipeline safety regulations and related
