    General Summary

    Perform planning and scheduling for all service order projects.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develops detailed schedules, material requirements lists and production plans for complex projects and/or repairs

    • Reviews plans and specifications to determine raw material and equipment requirements to support schedules

    • Works with Purchasing to obtain and schedule materials based on project forecasts

    • Works with Engineering and related design areas to develop tools and procedures to maximize facility and equipment utilization

    • Other duties as assigned

    Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements

    • High School Diploma or GED required.

    • Minimum of two (2) years planning and scheduling experience, including a working knowledge of operations and maintenance activities, including purchasing, materials, production processes and engineering

    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies

    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including, Microsoft Exchange, MS Excel, MS Word.

    • Must have excellent writing and verbal skills.

    Work Environment

    • May be required to wear and maintain appropriated personal protective equipment such as, but not limited to, safety footwear, safety glasses, gloves or other PPE. Specific requirements will be determined and communicated by the site Safety Manager and/or Supervisor.

    • May be required to lift objects up to 70 pounds.

    • May be exposed to elements such as heat, cold, noise,

    • Dust, dirt, chemicals, etc., but none to the point of being disagreeable.

    • May involve minor safety hazards where likely result would be cuts, bruises, etc.
