Planner Scheduler

Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Planner/ Scheduler with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience preferably in the aerospace manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will play a key role in coordinating and optimizing production schedules while facilitating cross-department collaboration with all departments such as engineering, manufacturing, sales, purchasing, customers, engineering, customers, and suppliers. Previous experience in a machine shop environment within aerospace is highly desirable.

Job Responsibilities

-Develop detailed production schedules and plans to ensure timely and efficient execution of projects

-Collaborate closely with engineering, sales, and purchasing to gather project requirements and specifications

-Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between different departments, fostering effective communication and collaboration

-Coordinate with engineering to ensure accurate and feasible project timelines

-Customer Focused: Be assigned to 1-3 customers and serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling-related inquiries

-Maintain strong relationships with customers and address any concerns or changes in project requirements promptly

-Supplier Coordinator: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and components

-Monitor supplier performance and address any issues impacting production schedules

-Efficiently Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements in production planning

-Implement best practices to optimize workflow and meet customer and company objectives

-Machine Shop Experience: Leverage prior experience in a machine shop environment within aerospace to enhance scheduling accuracy

-Ensure alignment between production schedules and machine shop capabilities

-Contribute to the development of efficient and scalable scheduling processes
