    We are seeking an experienced Controller to join a leading manufacturing company. As the Controller, you will provide financial leadership to our manufacturing facilities, driving financial performance, implementing effective controls, and optimizing operational efficiency. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will oversee financial activities, generate insightful reports, and collaborate with site leaders for strategic decision-making. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to contribute to the success of our thriving organization.

    The salary range will be $90,000 - $110,000 DOE!

    Responsibilities

    1. Financial Leadership:

    2. Provide strategic financial leadership to manufacturing facilities, aligning with overall business objectives.

    3. Develop and execute financial strategies, initiatives, and policies to enhance profitability and operational excellence.

    4. Generate accurate and comprehensive financial reports, analyses, and commentaries to support decision-making.

    5. Collaborate with site leaders to establish and monitor plant budgets, identifying areas for cost optimization and process improvements.

    6. Financial Planning and Analysis:

    7. Lead the development and implementation of financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

    8. Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, identifying key trends, risks, and growth opportunities.

    9. Provide recommendations and support to optimize resource allocation, improve financial performance, and drive business growth.

    10. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency and financial health.

    11. Financial Controls and Compliance:

    12. Implement and maintain robust financial controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

    13. Conduct internal audits to assess financial risks, identify control gaps, and recommend corrective actions.

    14. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, to facilitate smooth financial audits and reviews.

    15. Stay updated with accounting standards and industry best practices, proactively implementing necessary changes.

    16. Team Leadership and Development:

    17. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented, high-performance culture.

    18. Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting continuous learning and professional development.

    19. Foster effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, creating a cohesive and productive work environment.

    Prepare month end analysis and reporting for Executive team.

    Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Preferred but not required: advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA).

    • Proven experience as a Controller or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

    • Strong knowledge of financial management principles, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting.

    • Demonstrated ability to generate insightful financial reports, analyses, and commentaries to support decision-making processes.

    • Excellent understanding of financial controls, regulatory compliance, and accounting standards (GAAP).

    • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. Advanced Excel skills are required.

    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing finance team.

    • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
