Prep Cook

Adecco is hiring immediately for Prep Cooks at a local client in Everett, WA. Prep Cooks do essential jobs with one of our premier clients in a state-of-the-art facility, with rates starting at $19.00-$21.00/hr., plus available overtime. In this role, you will ensure recipe integrity by verifying material items and expiration dates before processing. You will be responsible for cleaning, assembling, operating, and troubleshooting machinery specific to ingredient preparation. Your duties include inspecting ingredients and their packaging to meet safety and quality standards, maintaining documentation for regulatory compliance, and coordinating ingredient supply from storage to production areas. Additionally, you will support other departments as needed and perform any other assigned duties.

Requirements

• 1-3 months related experience and/or training

• Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry

• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and internal/external customers

• Ability to learn system logic and operate HMI/control panels and fine tune equipment for minor and major adjustments

• Self-directed, able to keep oneself busy and flow to the work

• Must be available to work overtime and weekends

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. Frequently

• High attention to detail

• Must be able to work in an environment frequently exposed to loud, wet, and cold conditions

Pay Details: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
