Additionally, you will be responsible for providing deep technical knowledge and architectural design mentorship at a platform and portfolio level and will be a key contributing architect on large/complex projects with a variety of components. In this role, you will have the opportunity to present designs and ideas to an Architecture Review Board.     Primary responsibilities include

    • Participate in code and design reviews with teams of software, network and cloud engineers to ensure that solutions meet current enterprise standards; ensure the cybersecurity of proposed solutions. Apply specialized knowledge of industry standards or practices to assigned initiatives.

    • Design and handle solutions that provide frameworks, interfaces, and services that can be extended and reused across the portfolio, ensuring that architecture is consistent with enterprise architecture standards, guidelines and principles.

    • Ability to collaborate and evangelize the right cloud solutions through the business, creating a visionary direction and roadmap for Infrastructure as a Service.

    • Frequently collaborate with other functional teams' leadership and engineers to align and use solutions. Contribute to technology direction, develop architecture and influence implementation to gain measurable business improvements.

    • Provide postimplementation support to project stakeholders, such as training and troubleshooting. Apply analysis based on research and introspection to recommend solutions.

    • Regularly evaluate cloud application, hardware and software

    • Understand industry best practices and challenge the status quo to support continuous improvement

    • Performing long-term trend analysis regarding the implementation of new technological solutions; analyze data gathered and produce reports.

    • Assess current on premise environment and translate to Cloud

    Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

    • Complete understanding of the technology required for cloud computing

    • Demonstrated competency in security frameworks such as NIST and OWASP

    • Experience in operationalizing cloud strategies with governance, architectural, security, workload placement and prioritization as core developed capabilities.

    • Architecture certifications from some of the following areas (AWS, Azure, TOGAF, Virtualization, CISSIP-ISSAP etc..)

    • Infrastructure automation though DevOps scripting (ex. Shell, Python, Ruby, PowerShell etc.)

    • Responsibility of making sure the requirements of all SLA's are met

    • Demonstrated competency in CI/CD best practices and toolsets.

    Hours & Work Schedule

    • Hours per Week: 40

    • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30-5
