The Growth Product team within Streaming's Global Product & Design Organization builds and operates product and features to drive Acquisition, Retention, Cross-sell, Upsell and Monetization across all customer touch points. We build for connected TVs, web, mobile phones, tablets, and consoles for a large footprint of products and brands (Max, discovery+, Food Network, CNN, Golf TV, MotorTrend, Eurosport, and many more) This is a growing, global product and engineering group crucial to WBD's future.

    We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to drive AI/ML initiatives within the Growth organization. In this role, you will work closely with data science, design, engineering, and partner product teams to build and launch AI/ML driven initiatives to increase subscriber acquisition and retention for the Max streaming service. You will collaborate closely with partners to design, prioritize, and launch critical features and experiments globally. You will identify and quantify customer problems, determine approaches to address them, and A/B test different features to solve them. You will be part of a team of Product Managers focused on growth AI/ML initiatives, working closely with other Product Managers, Software Engineers and Data Scientists. The team has a diverse range of skill sets / experience in ML / Recommenders / related fields across streaming media, e-commerce, and other hi-tech problem spaces and hails from top-flight tech firms. This is a high visibility role that requires excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple business teams, at all levels of the organization.

    Your Role Accountabilities...

    • Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for our Growth AI/ML area, aligning it with the company's overall goals and objectives.

    • Roadmap Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and business development, to define and prioritize product features, enhancements, and capabilities. Create and manage the product roadmap to ensure timely delivery of milestones and align with business priorities.

    • User Experience: Champion the user-centric approach, continually evaluating and improving the models to deliver an intuitive, seamless, and personalized user experience. Analyze user feedback, conduct usability testing, and leverage data analytics to drive data-informed decisions.

    • Competitive Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, emerging technologies, and competitors' offerings in the streaming services space. Conduct competitive analysis and leverage insights to differentiate and improve our product offering.

    • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including executives, engineering teams, marketing teams, and customer support, to align product strategy with business objectives. Effectively communicate product vision, progress, and challenges to stakeholders at various levels within the organization.

    • Collaboration & Coaching: Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Assist management in developing and coaching junior Product Managers.

    • Product Launch and Adoption: Collaborate with marketing to develop go-to-market strategies and support the successful launch of new features and products. Monitor product adoption, gather customer feedback, and iterate on product offerings based on user needs and preferences.

    • Performance Measurement: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate success. Monitor product performance, analyze data, and leverage insights to drive product optimization and continuous improvement.

    Qualifications & Experience...

    • 12+ years of product management experience.

    • Being able to craft concise and customer-centric PR/FAQs, PRDs, and product vision documents while creating a compelling narrative is essential.

    • Experience launching and developing products and features for a global audience.

    • Experience deploying AI/ML driven features and measuring efficacy of these features.

    • Understanding of A/B testing methodologies and the ability to use data to inform product decisions.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate and present to stakeholders at all levels of the business.

    • Demonstrate strong ownership to deliver exceptional customer experiences and customer empathy.

    • Experience developing consumer facing experiences across multiple platforms (e.g., web, mobile, connected TV).

    • Experience working with and managing the needs of multiple stakeholders and business teams.

    • Experience driving clarity in ambiguous situations and drive forward progress.

    • Experience with data analysis and driving insights and making business decisions through data.

    In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $167,020.00 - $310,180.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
