  • Our client is seeking an Electro-mechanical Product Development Engineer who has a background with bringing new automated products to market. As a Product Engineer you will create and test new designs, integrate automated Controls, and electronics into dispensary equipment. Product is in a niche business with high, consistent demand offering long term growth with an excellent comp plan.

    Hybrid to the Duluth, GA area

    Summary

    • You will work closely with product owners, the engineering team and Director, and other development team members to understand client needs to develop end user solutions.

    • Knowledge with Ideation, Materials, and finishes, NPD/NPI

    • Have knowledge with Calculations/Torque, and schematics, AC/DC, voltages, and an understanding of RF

    • Create mechanical designs which incorporate electronic packaging and motor controls.

    • Evaluate designs and develop execution plans and to meet all product goals

    • Propose and implement design changes for reliability improvement and cost savings

    • Create and maintain mechanical design documentation, ECNs

    • Perform design feasibility analysis utilizing Solidworks, GD&T standards, to creating prototypes

    • Support new products through release to manufacturing and field deployment

    • Research, assess and adapt to new technologies necessary for future changes and modifications of existing equipment.
