Job Description

ICL Specialty Products Inc. seeks a full-time Global Product Manager, Alternative Proteins-Texturates in St. Louis, Missouri to drive the growth of our Alternative Proteins business and develop the North American & Global opportunities that help strengthen and significantly expand our business. Duties include full global responsibility for our Textured Vegetable Protein (TVP) product line from manufacturing to commercialization; working closely with our Global Alternative Proteins Leader, application team, and sales and marketing teams; delivering the sales revenue goal for TVP product line; updating strategy for the product line; overseeing the sales pipeline; development of customer projects for alternative proteins accounts for the product line in conjunction with sales team; supporting sales team with presentations to top alternative proteins customer targets; developing marketing collateral for the product line; assisting with trade shows and trade communications for the product line; developing pricing structure for the product line; working with supply chain team to ensure sourcing of required raw materials, manufacturing of finished product, and transportation logistics to customer; managing the qualification process for the product line for key customers; working with the R&D team to develop next generation products to supplement the product line; consulting with regional counterparts on all aspects of the product line; communicating progress on the product line to Global Alternative Proteins Leader and other key stakeholders.

Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Food Science, or Chemistry and 8 years of experience as a Product Manager, Plant Engineer, Process Engineer or related occupation in the food ingredient industry to include 2 years of experience in the alternative protein industry including product line management; product pricing analysis; product development strategy; supply chain and raw material management; sales pipeline tracking; and product innovation management. Position requires approx. 30% domestic/international travel. Telecommuting allowed.
