    We are looking for: The Production Coordinator is responsible for assuring that labor, materials, and machines are available at the right time and place to ensure the work cell's smooth operation. Executes a variety of non-technical manufacturing activities to support the Area Improvement Team's objectives in the area of HSE, quality and productivity.

    We can count on you for:

    • Engage with work cell through visible safety leadership activities and in particular with Shift Team Leader and operators to ensure SHE standards are understood and complied with.

    • Work with a cross functional team and shop floor to ensure all required raw materials are available to assigned machine center within the work cell. Update stocked consumables materials with Fastenal if needed

    • Works closely with Production Area Leader on schedule buy-off process and coordinate communication and implementation of production schedule. Coordinates finite scheduling with Production Planner.

    • Ensures attendance tracking system integrity and reports are updated and available to Shift Team Leader. Coordinates vacation and OT scheduling by working closely with Shift Team Leader and PAL. Co-ordinate and supports maintenance activities with the PAL.

    • Manage labor to make most efficient use of available personnel ensuring that all allocated employees are suitably trained per training matrix. Communicate to the Shift Team Leader where there are training gaps (current and potential future gaps).

    • Advise PAL on long term and short term staffing strategy changes (based on training, LOA, etc)

    • Keep Staffing sheet up to date

    • Maintain Training Matrix with STLs and PALs

    • Support operators and Shift Team Leaders in their daily performance by ensuring all materials, tools and equipment in place at the right time. Update SLOC Maintenance tool and request cycle counts when needed.

    • Use available tools to track the efficiency and productivity of the work cell on a daily / monthly basis. Suggest improvements to SAP router timings. Work with Production Engineers to implement improvements.

    • Manage improvement projects as directed by Production Area Leader and AIT's. Work with cross functional groups to implement continuous improvement activities.

    • Support improvement projects related to scheduling and productivity improvement based on business need

    You will bring:

    • Minimum 3 - 5 years' CEM manufacturing experience

    • Intimate understanding of production area's work practices and work flow preferred

    • Understanding manufacturing processes and inventory systems.

    • Understand key operational metrics within unit.

    • Understanding of SAP, IPA, PRT, LIMS, Spreadsheets, PCATS, CIRS

    • Understanding processes to engage cross-functional teams to solve problems.

    • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $67,000-80K. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
