Production Lead

Overview

Insight Global is looking for a Working Production Lead, to assist one of our largest Manufacturing clients. This individual will be responsible for overseeing 19 teammates on production line 5 which holds multiple functions of stacking, wrapping, and inspecting products. Half of this lead's time will be spent managing teammates, building culture, reports, training, and more while the other half will be spent working the line, filling in where needed.

Day to Day

* Reporting to the production supervisor

* Morning safety and production meetings

* Overviewing quality for days/weeks production to ensure the right accessories are in stock. Nothing more, nothing less.

* One on one teammate reports with the production supervisor

* Building team culture while monitoring work ethic, lunch breaks, training, etc.

* 50% of week you will be working the line, filling in for sick teammates, teammates on lunch, and more so expected to learn basic job functions

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves

* 1 year of experience within a leadership role in manufacturing, warehousing, production, preferably overseeing continuous assembly line

* Experience within conflict resolution and holding teammates accountable

* Mechanical aptitude with running machines and working on a production line null
