  • Job Description

    Responsible for the oversight of clinic and/or hospital laboratories which includes, but not limited to; employee management (hiring, scheduling, conflict resolution, performance appraisals, etc.) management of workflow, maintaining polices and procedures, financial review and management, continuous quality management and improvement. Ensures compliance with regulatory standards, serves as CLIA director and/or technical consultant for designated laboratories. May have direct contact with patients of all ages. The regional manager also creates and maintains Client relationships with organizations outside of Essentia Health. The manager works on assigned Laboratory Department Teams to ensure that they are aligned with supporting the strategic plan and objectives as defined by the laboratory system leadership. The regional laboratory manager will work with other departments and committees to maintain a high level of care, and promote the mission and vision of Essentia Health. Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of previous experience in a hospital or clinic laboratory that includes two years of leadership experience.

    Education Qualifications

    Graduate of a four-year degree in Clinical Laboratory science

    Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

    Current American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent certification or ability to obtain certification within one year from date of hire.Licensed per state requirement.

    Pay Range

    $69285 - $103938 / year

    The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
