    Job Title: Project Engineer

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain project schedules

    • Create and manage design submittals, RFI's and change orders

    • Work with the Quality Control manager to create, review and edit required quality control documents

    • Manage designers, subcontractors and vendors to ensure required design & installation information (is provided correctly and on-time.

    • Review subcontractor & engineering performance and provide feedback to the Project Manager.

    • Coordinates purchase of necessary supplies, equipment and services from appropriate sources and maintains proper inventory control, maintenance and consumable supplies.

    • Authority to review and approve design submittals to ensure compliance.

    Job Specifications (incl. Education requirements, minimal experience, computer skills required, etc.)

    • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction management or business management or

    • 3+ years working experience in HVAC or building controls.

    • Must have knowledge of submitting written proposals, scopes of work, scheduling and coordinating site contractors and other assigned personnel; a thorough understanding of preventive maintenance schedules and operations and the ability to meet demanding customer requirements.

    • Must have strong verbal and listening communication skills and excellent telephone etiquette as well as professional friendly demeanor.

    • Proven ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of work with extreme accuracy and adjust to changing priorities.

    • The ability to anticipate needs and solve job related problems independently and act with appropriate urgency.

    • Advanced MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills

    • Must possess valid driver's license and meet MVR requirements to operate company vehicle.
